CAROLINE VYE'S BIO

Caroline is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac), Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCMP), and Registered Bioenergetic Intolerance Elimination Practitioner (R.BIE).  She graduated from the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of the top schools in Ontario with an Advanced Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine, the highest level of education available in Canada, and from The National Institute of Health Technologies.

Prior to her career as an R.Ac. and R.TCMP, Caroline earned her BA in Applied Linguistics, after which she provided speech therapy to developmentally delayed adults and preschoolers with and without developmental disabilities.  During this time, through her personal experience, she became passionate about Chinese medicine.

Aside from completing an advanced TCM program, she has taken the Contemporary Acupuncture Course through McMaster University, which focuses on relieving pain through stimulating the nervous system using leading acupuncture techniques.  Caroline has an unquenching desire to learn!

Her most recent area of study has been Bioenergetic Intolerance Elimination (BIE), where she uses her background in the theories and fundamentals of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to balance the body in a novel way.  She completed the program in 2022 and has then had the opportunity to shadow their lead educator and clinician for a more indepth experience with this modality.

As an educator, Caroline's organizational and analytical skills were noticed early in her traditional Chinese medicine studies, as a result she has worked with multiple teachers writing and editing journal articles and textbooks. She is the former blogger at The Canadian Gynecology Institute of Chinese Medicine.  Caroline has also worked as a clinical supervisor in a school setting and at Dorothy Ley Hospice.

Her learning interests have leaned towards neurology, specifically neuroplasticity.  This is an area of science that studies the adaptability, changeability and rehabilitative potential of the body and mind.  She is also an avid reader, exercise enthusiast, hopeful handywoman and aspiring gardener.

Additionally, Caroline speaks regularly at seminars and workshops within the community and has been a guest speaker at a Google headquarters event in Toronto. Contact her if you would like to book Caroline  to speak at your workplace, community venue or educational event.
